Standard Ball Lens Brief Introduction

Ball lenses are commonly used to improve the signal coupling between optical fiber, transmitter, and detector, so that to improve the signal quality. It also can be used in endoscopy, bar code scanning, aspherical lenses’ premachining materials, sensors, etc. Ball lenses have a short rear focal length, which minimizes the distance required from the ball lens to the optical fiber. Golden Way Scientific lists H-K9L (Nd=1.517) ball lenses as our standard products, and other high index material and half-ball lenses are also available.
