VIS Negative Achromatic Lens Brief Introduction

Achromatic doublet lenses are excellent focusing components to reduce the chromatic aberrations from broadband light sources. Unlike singlet lenses, achromatic lenses have constant focal length independent of aperture and operating wavelength and have superior off-axis performance. Our achromatic lenses are computer designed to effectively minimize spherical aberration and coma when operating at infinite conjugate ratio, yielding smaller focused spot sizes. These achromatic lenses are available with one of two anti-reflection coatings:VIS (400~700nm) and NIR (650~1050nm),which can reduce the amount of light reflected from out surfaces of the lens.
