Wedge prisms can deflect the incident beam to a specified direction at a certain deflection angle. When used in pairs, the outgoing beam can be located in any direction in a pyramid which take the incident beam as the axis through the relative rotation of the two wedges. High precision wedge prisms can avoid Etalon Effects caused by reflection of high-parallelism windows. Wedge prisms can also prevent instability of laser output or mode hopping which caused by optical reflections. We offer uncoated or AR Coated wedgedprisms for your application.
