Unpolarized Cube Beamsplitter Brief Introduction

Constructed by cementing two right angle prisms together, Our these Unpolarized Cube Beamsplitters offer a range of reflection/transmission ratios. A splitter coating is applied to the hypotenuse surface of one of the prisms to provide the designated reflection/transmission ratio. Absorption loss to the coating is almost Zero. Please keep in mind that the output is partially polarized, making such Cube Beamsplitters suitable for illumination and other applications where polarization is not a concern. If polarization sensitivity is critical to your application, we recommend using our Polarizing Beamsplitters or Non-Polarizing Beamsplitters.
