Retroreflectors reflect an image or beam back 180° toward its original direction. Prisms achieve this either through total internal reflections (TIR) or specular reflections, depending on whether the reflective faces are coated. The insensitivity of the alignment of these prisms make them ideal retro-reflecting optics.
These mounted retroreflector prisms are directly compatible with our lens tubes and fixedens mounts, allowing the prisms to be seamlessly incorporated into an optical setup. inaddition, the housing helps to keep the optic free from fingerprints and reduces the risk ofdamage to the prism's surfaces.
