Retroreflectors reflect an image or beam back 180°toward its original direction. Prismsachieve this either through total internal reflections (TlR) or specular reflections, dependingon whether the reflective faces are coated, The insensitivity of the alignment of these prismsmake them ideal retro-reflecting optics.
These mounted retroreflector prisms are directly compatible with our lens tubes and fixedlens mounts, allowing the prisms to be seamlessly incorporated into an optical setup. inaddition, the housing helps to keep the optic free from fingerprints and reduces the risk ofdamage to the prism's surfaces.
