The Optronics cage rod adapter has one end as a stud and the other end as a blind hole with an inner diameter of Ø6 mm and a depth of 5.6mm. It comes in two types: 4-40 studs and M3 studs, compatible with components that have 4-40 or M3 internal threads, suitable for connecting coaxial rods with a diameter of Ø6mm. A side-mounted M3 set screw is used to secure the Ø6mm coaxial rod. The side features a through-hole of Ø1.8mm, reinforced with a 1.5mm wrench for secure connection. When connecting coaxial system components with both end faces as threaded holes, the coaxial rod adapter is screwed onto one component, one end of the coaxial rod is screwed onto the other component, and the other end of the coaxial rod is inserted into the coaxial rod adapter, achieving a coaxial series connection.
