Optics SM1 thread protection cap comes in two types: the GWCH-TL-G1.0N internal thread protection end cap and the GWCHTL-G1.0 external thread protection end cap. The former has an internal SM1 thread, which can be screwed onto the end of mechanical parts with an external SM1 thread; the latter has an external SM1 thread, which can be screwed onto the end of mechanical parts with an internal SM1 thread, protecting optical components from dust and light.
