Glan-Thompson High-Precision Polarizing Prisms Featuring an optically cemented construction, these prisms offer the distinct advantage of an ultra-wide acceptance angle. With a usable acceptance angle ranging from 14° to 28°, they greatly simplify beam alignment and adjustment.Fabricated from calcite with excellent optical transmittance, the prisms achieve an extinction ratio up to 100,000:1.Beam propagation deviation is minimized: the extraordinary ray (e-ray) undergoes straight-through transmission with a deviation angle of less than 3 arcseconds. This makes them ideally suited for divergent beams, spectrometers, and polarimetry experiments.
